Sattva Cassia is a herbal conditioning powder with one ingredient, often called neutral henna rather than Lawsonia henna. Mix it into a hair mask for shine, a smoother feel and body. Very light, grey or bleached hair may develop warm golden tones; always test a strand.
Payment and delivery
Sattva Ayurveda Cassia powder for hair offers a herbal conditioning treatment with one ingredient: powdered Cassia obovata leaves. It is sold as neutral or colourless henna, but it is a different plant from Lawsonia henna.
Used as a paste, this cassia hair treatment can leave hair looking shinier and feeling smoother and fuller. On darker hair, any golden tone may be less noticeable. Blonde, very light, white, grey and bleached hair can pick up yellow-golden warmth, with results varying by starting colour and hair condition. Cassia does not lighten hair or guarantee grey coverage. Check the effect on a small hidden strand before a full application.
For external use only. Store in a cool place. Before use, carry out a skin compatibility test and a strand test, particularly on light, grey or bleached hair.
Is neutral henna really colourless?
Neutral henna is a trade name for cassia here, not Lawsonia henna. Cassia can add golden tones, so a completely colourless result is not guaranteed.
Can I use cassia on blonde, grey or bleached hair?
These hair colours may take on yellow-golden warmth. Test a hidden strand first; cassia neither lightens hair nor guarantees grey coverage.
How long should Sattva Cassia stay on my hair?
Let the mixed paste stand for 30 minutes, then leave it on your hair for 2–3 hours. After rinsing, avoid shampoo for 48 hours.
Will cassia make fine hair feel fuller?
It may add body, shine and a smoother feel. Results depend on your hair; it does not permanently change hair thickness.
